I believe they're only 3.5 oz uncooked. This is correct. You go in and get a ten minute sales pitch trying to sell you the big packages. I bought just the rib eyes and was disappointed. They were probably about 1/4 inch thick, maybe less. A guy selling them out of a freezer in the bed of his truck, 10 oz steaks, 20 of them for $25 as I was on my way back home from the university.... Seems to good to be true. Ribeyes for that cheap sound scary..... Although many cattle ranchers live around here. Anyone have any experience...20 ribeyes for $40!
