Hello adventurer! It will take approximately 20-25 min. To get to Mt Rose from GSR. Another 10 to Chickadee Ridge. I would speculate there will still be snow in a month. We just got 5-6 inches in the higher elevations last weekend. I suggest calling Mt. Rose to make sure they are still open for rentals.
